Job summary

EY GDS Poland is offering a NextGen Talent Internship for aspiring testers in Katowice, combining hands-on experience on international projects with mentorship and structured learning in software testing and test automation.

As a Junior Test Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with global teams, gain exposure to modern testing tools and AI-enabled approaches, and develop skills valuable in a technology-driven market.

Qualifications

Understanding of software testing fundamentals (test scenarios, cases, data).
Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
Basic programming experience in Java and/or Python.
Ability to organize workload independently and communicate progress.
Good command of English (B2+).
Interest in and willingness to develop AI/GenAI skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with project teams to support testing, QA and implementation activities.
Contribute to project deliverables with timely progress reporting.
Partner with developers, testers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in continuous improvement and knowledge sharing initiatives.
Support the design, execution and maintenance of manual and automated test scenarios.
