Job summary

RTB House, a leading adtech company, is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to strengthen the security of systems, infrastructure, and development practices. You will drive security architecture across multiple teams, collaborate with SOC, and set standards to improve defenses and enable secure-by-default engineering.

You will influence across engineering, platform, DevOps, and cloud environments, bridging security operations and product delivery with practical, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in security engineering or closely related roles.
• Hands-on security engineering for production environments.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and high throughput.
• Polish and English language must be at least B2/C1.
• Experience security architecture reviews and threat modeling.
• Strong understanding of application, infrastructure and network security.

Responsibilities

• Identify systemic security risks across applications, on-prem infrastructure, cloud environments, internal platforms, and SDLC.
• Perform security architecture reviews for existing and new systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address security weaknesses early in development lifecycle.
• Partner with SOC to improve detection capabilities and translate findings into controls and architecture.
• Design and implement reusable security controls, tools, automation, and services.
• Define and evolve technical security standards, guidelines, reference architectures, and best practices.
• Review complex designs and provide actionable security recommendations without blocking engineering.
