Job summary

RTB House is seeking a Junior SOC Security Engineer to monitor IT infrastructure, triage SIEM/EDR alerts, analyze malware payloads, and support AI-driven threat hunting. You will interpret AI model outputs, document findings, and suggest new detection rules.

The role requires L1 SOC experience, fluent English and Polish (min B2), and a willingness to grow skills in automation (Python/Bash) and MITRE/NIST frameworks. Fully remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a SOC environment at L1 level (min 1 year).
• Threat analysis and incident response skills.
• Knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk Enterprise Security).
• Knowledge of XDR/EDR solutions (SentinelOne).
• Knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTPS, DNS).
• Willingness to develop automation and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and NIST frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Responding to incidents per established procedures.
• Verifying alerts from SIEM/EDR/XDR systems.
• Supporting more experienced team members in developing tools or security solutions.
• Escalating complex cases and assisting SOC daily operations.
