Job summary

Erecruiter is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join a 24/7 SOC/CyberSOC team in Poland. You will work in 8-hour shifts, handling security incidents and performing analysis across SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and network devices.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of security experience, knowledge of TCP/IP, and hands-on firewall experience with major vendors, plus certifications are a bonus. Hybrid work arrangement and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity operations (vulnerability scanning, IDS/IPS).
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, NAT, VPN, DNS.
• Hands-on experience with firewall technologies (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA).
• Understanding of network flow analysis and log interpretation.
• Knowledge of MITRE attack techniques.
• Technical IT or related education (including current students).
• English proficiency for free communication.
• Certs such as CISP, CEH, CompTIA Security+ or NSE/PCCET/PCNSA, CCNA/CCNP are nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical work with SIEM, EDR, SOAR, AV and Web Proxy systems.
• Classify, analyze and handle security incidents.
• Develop post-incident recommendations.
• Validate firewall, VPN, proxy, and network security alerts.
• Analyze traffic flows, NAT rules, routing behavior, and policy impacts.
• Own and resolve network security incidents end-to-end.
• Troubleshoot firewall drops, IPS blocks, VPN tunnel failures, and routing issues.
• Cooperate in an international environment.
• Work 8-hour shifts in a 24/7 rotation (after onboarding).
