Job summary

MasterBorn is seeking a QA professional to join our agile teams. You will perform manual testing, design test scenarios, and report bugs while collaborating with developers, Scrum Master, and product designers to assure high quality.

The role emphasizes exploratory testing, API and SQL basics, and strong communication in English. This is a flexible, 100% remote (or hybrid/on-site) position with long-term potential and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 1 year of QA experience in an agile environment.
• Experience with exploratory testing.
• Basic SQL and relational databases knowledge.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar PM tools.
• Basic API knowledge and browser dev-tools usage.

Responsibilities

• Participate in designing and implementing modern business applications for external clients.
• Perform manual testing, build test scenarios and bug reports.
• Collaborate with Developers, Scrum Master, Proxy Product Owner and Designers to ensure quality.
• Focus on quality-oriented testing rather than finding defects.
• Execute test cases with precision and document differences.

Salary: PLN 6.000 - 8.000 + VAT (B2B); PLN 5.500 - 6.700 brutto (UZL)

Contract summary:

• Rate: PLN 6.000 - 8.000 + VAT (B2B)
• Contract: B2B/UZL, paid days off, 100% remote (or hybrid/onsite - as you prefer), flexible working hours, full-time position, long-term contract, Scrum Teams, and more

Your future tasks:

• Participating in the design and implementation of modern business applications for external clients
• Manual testing, building test scenarios, test cases, user scenarios, and bug reporting
• Working closely with Developers, Scrum Master, Proxy Product Owner, and Product Designers to assure high quality
• Focusing on quality-oriented rather than defect-oriented testing
• Executing test cases with high precision and detail, diligently checking each step and documenting differences

About you - Tech skills & Experience:

• 6-12 months of experience as QA working with teams that develop software in an agile environment
• Experience in exploratory tests
• SQL basics, familiarity with relational databases
• Know the basics of Jira or other agile project management tools
• Basic knowledge about API
• Basic knowledge about dev-tools in browsers
• Curiosity about AI and interest in AI-driven solutions that enhance work efficiency.
• Practical knowledge of using AI in projects

About you - Soft Skills:

• Good command of English (min. B2), excellent command of Polish (min. C1) is required
• Knowledge hungry - with eagerness to learn and taking on challenges
• Detail-oriented and quality-centered approach to software development
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Problem-solving way of thinking
• Solid communication skills and not being afraid to challenge the status quo

Nice to have:

• ISEB/ISTQB certificate
• Ability to spot UI/UX imperfections or flaws
