Lever, Inc. is seeking a QA tester to join a fast-paced team working with React, Node.js, and TypeScript. You will focus on manual, exploratory, and API testing within agile projects and collaborate closely with developers and product designers.

The role emphasizes quality-centric testing, detail-oriented work, and a strong interest in AI-driven efficiency. Remote or hybrid work options are available, with a long-term, full-time contract.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of QA experience in an agile software team.
• Experience with exploratory testing in a real project.
• SQL basics and familiarity with relational databases.
• Basic knowledge of API and related tooling.
• Familiarity with Jira or other agile PM tools.
• Knowledge of browser DevTools and debugging skills.
• Interest in AI-driven solutions to improve work efficiency.
• Practical use of AI in projects.

Responsabilités

• Participate in design and implementation of modern business apps for clients.
• Perform manual testing, build test scenarios and report bugs.
• Collaborate with developers, Scrum Master, Proxy Product Owner, and designers to assure quality.
• Focus on quality-oriented testing rather than just finding defects.

We are not looking for another ordinary bug finder, we are looking for a new valuable member of our team who is way more than just a tester.

Our tech stack is built around React, React Native, Node.js, and TypeScript. We are focusing mostly on manual testing with the priority set on API, acceptance and end-to-end testing.

We are working with well-established companies and sometimes startups in their early stages (MVPs), which makes the job full of diversity and exciting challenges while crafting cutting-edge solutions. Our clients and referrals are from the high-end American IT market.

You must be quality-oriented and willing to act! At this point, you don't have to be the absolute best, but gathering knowledge should be your day-to-day focus ;)

Salary: PLN 6.000 - 8.000 + VAT (B2B); PLN 5.500 - 6.700 brutto (UZL)

Your future tasks:

• Participating in the design and implementation of modern business applications for external clients
• Manual testing, building test scenarios, test cases, user scenarios, and bug reporting
• Working closely with Developers, Scrum Master, Proxy Product Owner, and Product Designers to assure high quality
• Focusing on quality-oriented rather than defect-oriented testing
• Executing test cases with high precision and detail, diligently checking each step and documenting differences

About you - Tech skills & Experience:

• 6-12 months of experience as QA working with teams that develop software in an agile environment
• Experience in exploratory tests
• SQL basics, familiarity with relational databases
• Know the basics of Jira or other agile project management tools
• Basic knowledge about API
• Basic knowledge about dev-tools in browsers
• Curiosity about AI and interest in AI-driven solutions that enhance work efficiency.
• Practical knowledge of using AI in projects

About you - Soft Skills:

• Good command of English (min. B2), excellent command of Polish (min. C1) is required
• Knowledge hungry - with eagerness to learn and taking on challenges
• Detail-oriented and quality-centered approach to software development
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Problem-solving way of thinking
• Solid communication skills and not being afraid to challenge the status quo
• Open-minded to new ideas and perspectives
• Being aware of your strengths and areas for improvements
• Actively seeking solutions and trying to figure things out on your own, but not being afraid to ask for help when needed

Nice to have:

• ISEB/ISTQB certificate
• Ability to spot UI/UX imperfections or flaws
• Experience in cooperation with the client

6,000 zł - 8,000 zł a month

Salary: PLN 6.000 - 8.000 + VAT (B2B); PLN 5.500 - 6.700 brutto (UZL)
