Overview

We are looking for Test Specialists (TE) to support a Software Factory team. This is an advanced-level role focused on application testing within a near-site service provision model. You will work on designing, executing, and automating tests for complex systems, ensuring quality and compliance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and document test cases for software systems
• Execute functional and exploratory tests
• Report test results and defects
• Interpret test results and provide progress updates
• Review project documentation and ensure compliance
• Collaborate with analysis, architecture, development, and service desk teams
• Take a test lead role in smaller projects

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT and as a Tester/Test Specialist
• ICT-relevant degree (secondary school, technical school, or post-secondary)
• English at B2 level (confirmed by certification)
• ISTQB Advanced or equivalent certification OR 3 years of experience in test design beyond minimum requirements
• Hands-on experience in testing complex systems
• Practical knowledge of software testing tools
• Expertise in test design and documentation
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle

Specific Requirements

• Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans
• Hands‑on coding experience in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or VBS
• Test automation experience using Playwright or equivalent
• Ability to create SQL queries
• Experience testing SharePoint-based applications
