About the Role

Shift Markets is looking for a Junior Project Manager to help deliver client onboarding projects, custom integrations, and other client-requested work across our digital asset infrastructure business.

Reporting to the Project Management Team Lead, you will own assigned projects and backlogs, turn client needs into clear delivery plans, and coordinate closely with Customer Success, Development, and QA. This is a hands-on role for someone who is ready to build confidence quickly, make thoughtful day-to-day decisions, and improve how work gets done.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Manage client onboarding projects from Customer Success handoff through delivery.

  • Own assigned projects and backlogs, including grooming, prioritization, status tracking, and stakeholder updates.

  • Translate client requests into well-defined scope, clear ticket descriptions, specifications, and acceptance expectations.

  • Coordinate delivery across Customer Success, Development, and QA teams while balancing shared technical resources.

  • Make sound day-to-day decisions about priorities, delivery timing, and deployment approach, escalating material risks or tradeoffs when needed.

  • Manage multiple workstreams at once, building toward ownership of approximately five to six concurrent projects over time.

  • Support custom integration and configuration work by keeping requirements, dependencies, and next steps clear.

  • Create reusable templates and documentation that make integration and onboarding processes easier to repeat and scale.

  • Use AI tools in daily project-management work and contribute ideas for improving documentation, follow-ups, task creation, and other workflows.

  • Take on smaller core product development work and select internal projects (focus on putting together a project plan, helping to move a project forward, help to resolve blockers and provide clear project status updates)

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience managing projects, implementations, or client delivery work in a software or technology environment.

  • A practical understanding of software-development and QA processes, including how work moves from requirements to delivery.

  • Strong organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage changing requirements and competing demands.

  • The confidence to take ownership, show initiative, and make routine decisions independently within your scope.

  • Clear, professional English communication and a collaborative approach to working across teams.

  • The ability to write clear documentation, tickets, specifications, status updates, and follow-ups.

  • Hands-on experience with a project or work-management platform such as Asana or a comparable tool.

  • Current, practical use of AI tools in your day-to-day work, with concrete examples of how they improve your output.

  • Curiosity, adaptability, and genuine enthusiasm for learning and improving processes.

Bonus Points
  • Experience with client onboarding, software implementations, custom integrations, or API-enabled workflows.

  • Experience working with Development and QA resources shared across several projects.

  • Familiarity with Asana, Notion, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar collaboration and AI tools.

  • Experience creating templates, playbooks, or process documentation for repeatable delivery work.

  • Exposure to SaaS, fintech, digital assets, or another integration-heavy environment.

Why join Shift?
  • You will join a global, collaborative team working at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets. You will have meaningful ownership from the start, support real client outcomes, and learn alongside experienced project, product, Customer Success, Development, and QA colleagues.

This role requires 40 hours per week and is fully remote. Compensation is dependent on skills and experience.
