Job summary

AirHelp is seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer in Kraków for a hybrid role. You will ensure hardware, software, and technical assistance for a global team, onboarding new colleagues and resolving issues across devices, networks, and applications.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, secure workplace practices, and hands-on use of tools like Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, and Okta. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in first-line IT Support, Helpdesk, or Desktop Support (or relevant academic background in Computer Science/IT with hands-on project experience).
• Good understanding of macOS environments, peripherals, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, DHCP, Wi‑Fi).
• Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or Okta administration.
• Customer-centric mindset with problem-solving, empathy and drive to improve internal employee experience.
• Ownership and initiative; curious to learn new technologies and automate repetitive tasks.
• Fluent written and spoken English (B2/C1+).

Responsibilities

• First-line Technical Support: primary contact via Jira Service Management and Slack; troubleshoot effectively and empathetically.
• User Lifecycle Management: onboarding/offboarding; provisioning laptops; creating system accounts; assigning rights; configuring software profiles.
• Hardware & Asset Administration: maintain asset inventory (MDM); manage device lifecycle logistics (shipping, repair, refurbishing).
• Office Infrastructure Support: troubleshoot AV, local Wi‑Fi/networks, printers.
• Security & Compliance: enforce cybersecurity policies (MFA, password hygiene, device encryption, zero-trust).
• Documentation & Self-Service: maintain IT knowledge base articles (Confluence) and user guides for self-service.
