Job summary

Anshar Studios in Katowice, Poland, is seeking a Junior Character Artist to join the on-site team and grow with us on upcoming projects. You will create 3D characters, props, and accessories, working with senior artists to meet project standards and real-time engine requirements.

You'll collaborate with concept artists, animators, and the Art Director, developing your skills and contributing to international AAA/AA titles. Relocation support and a supportive, crunch-free environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Some experience in character or asset creation for real-time projects.
• Sculpting and modeling characters (organic and hard-surface) using ZBrush, Blender, Maya, or similar tools.
• Solid organic modeling and UV mapping.
• Basic PBR texturing (Substance Painter or Photoshop).
• English proficiency at least A2/B1.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D characters, character parts, props, and accessories with feedback from senior artists.
• Model and sculpt organic assets and hard-surface props.
• Prepare and optimize assets for real-time engines: retopology, UV mapping, baking, texturing, cleanup.
• Implement assets in Unreal Engine and ensure proper integration with rigs.
• Collaborate with concept artists, animators, and the Art Director.
• Provide asset documentation and assist with cleanup and backups.
