Job summary

Anshar Studios in Katowice, Poland is seeking a Gameplay Animator to join our team on-site to craft and refine character and creature animations using Unreal Engine. You will collaborate with designers and tech animators to ensure fluid gameplay feel across locomotion, combat, and interaction sequences.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience, strong knowledge of locomotion, and proficiency in English (B2/C1).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Gameplay Animator.
• Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine.
• Strong locomotion, combat, and traversal animation understanding.
• Advanced English (B2/C1).

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and polish high-quality character and creature animations.
• Prototype, implement and polish locomotion, traversal, combat, and interactions.
• Iterate timing, cancels, and feel for responsive animations.
• Co-direct mocap sessions and integrate takes.
• Collaborate with Tech Animators and Gameplay Designers.
