Job summary

Exide Group in Poznań is seeking a Junior Buyer to support the Procurement Department with purchasing processes, system administration, data analysis and supplier collaboration to ensure timely delivery of materials and services in line with quality standards (IATF 16949) and ESG requirements.

The role includes purchasing process support, ERP data management, reporting and data analysis, and involvement in cost-reduction projects.

Qualifications

• University degree or currently pursuing higher education, preferred fields: logistics, procurement, economics, management, or production engineering.
• Strong English language skills (communicative level).
• Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers according to internal requirements.
• Monitor suppliers' order confirmations and ensure compliance with prices, delivery dates, and terms.
• Create and maintain supplier master data and purchasing information records in the ERP system.
• Prepare monthly procurement reports by category and update KPIs.
• Support RFQ and e-Auction processes and participate in supplier identification and qualification projects.
• Contribute to cost-reduction projects and procurement reporting automation.

JUNIOR BUYER

Purpose of the Position

To support the Procurement Department in purchasing processes, system administration, data analysis, and supplier collaboration in order to ensure timely delivery of materials and services in line with business requirements, quality standards (IATF 16949), and ESG requirements.

Main Responsibilities

Purchasing Process Support

• Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers according to requirements submitted by internal customers.
• Monitor suppliers' order confirmations.
• Verify compliance of purchase orders with agreed prices, delivery dates, and commercial terms.
• Support Category Buyers in purchasing activities.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding operational matters related to deliveries, pricing, and documentation.

ERP Data Management

• Create and maintain supplier master data.
• Create and update purchasing information records in the ERP system.
• Ensure accuracy of PO's data
• Maintain the quality of purchasing data in accordance with applicable procedures.

Reporting and Data Analysis

• Prepare monthly procurement reports by purchasing category.
• Update KPIs for individual categories.
• Conduct spend analysis.
• Support the monitoring of procurement savings.
• Prepare reports and analyses for management.

Additional Responsibilities

• Independently manage a selected purchasing category.
• Conduct price negotiations for simple operational purchases.
• Participate in cost-reduction projects.
• Participate in new supplier identification and qualification projects.
• Support RFQ and e-Auction processes.
• Support the implementation of AI tools and procurement reporting automation.

Required Competencies

• University degree or currently pursuing higher education (preferred fields: logistics, procurement, economics, management, or production engineering).
• Good command of English (communicative level).

• Ability to analyze data and work with ERP systems.
