Job summary

Deloitte Central Europe is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to join our finance team. This role focuses on investigating, validating, and resolving customer deductions and disputes to maximize revenue recovery and drive process improvements.

You will be a key liaison between customers and internal departments, performing root-cause analysis and communicating findings clearly to negotiate resolutions and protect financial assets.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in Finance Customer Service or related financial analysis roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for internal/external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with root cause analysis.
• Hands-on experience with a major ERP system (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) preferred, advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency in English (B2) and Estonian (B1) to support a global customer base.

Responsibilities

• Dispute Investigation: own a portfolio of customer deductions (short payments, pricing discrepancies, shipping errors, fees).
• Root Cause Analysis: research data from ERP, portals, customer systems, proof of delivery to validate disputes.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams via phone/email to gather information, challenge invalid claims, and negotiate resolutions.
• Compile and maintain supporting documentation to approve credits or pursue collection on invalid deductions.
• Process approved credits or coordinate with Collections to recover funds on invalid claims.
• Identify dispute trends and report to management, proposing preventative measures.
• Participate in process improvements to prevent recurring disputes and streamline resolution workflows.
