Job summary

Amadeus is hiring a Junior Accountant in our Accounts Payable (Source to Pay) team in Warsaw. You will process invoices, engage with vendors, and collaborate with purchasing to ensure timely payment proposals.

The role requires a Finance/Accounting background, early experience in AP, understanding of procurement/invoicing, and English proficiency. Prior Coupa or SAP experience is a plus, with diverse opportunities within a global company.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• First experience in accounts payable or transactional purchasing.
• Good understanding of procurement, invoicing, and supplier information management processes.
• Experience with Coupa or other purchasing tools is an asset.
• Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana is an asset.
• Very good English is a must.

Responsibilities

• Review PR based on criteria and follow up on PO and GR.
• Validate incoming invoices against PR/PO/GR.
• Input data from invoices into purchasing systems per policies.
• Facilitate payment processes and prepare payment proposals.
• Provide support to colleagues and vendors to resolve queries.
• Support month-end closing with accounting activities, reconciliations, and validations.
