Job summary

Amadeus is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Accounts Payable (Source to Pay) team in Poland. You will process invoices, validate data, engage with vendors, and support payment proposals while aligning with the purchasing department and month-end activities.

The ideal candidate has a Finance or Accounting background, some AP exposure, and familiarity with procurement processes. English proficiency is required, and experience with Coupa or SAP is a plus; strong accuracy and teamwork are

Qualifications

A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
First experience in accounts payable, accounting, or transactional purchasing (SSC).
Good understanding of procurement, invoicing, and supplier information management processes.
Prior experience with Coupa or any other purchasing tool would be an asset.
Knowledge of SAP (S4 Hana) would be an asset.
Very good English is a must.

Responsibilities

Review PRs based on criteria and follow up on POs and GRs.
Validate invoices against PR/PO/GR.
Input invoice data into purchasing systems per policies.
Facilitate payment processes and prepare payment proposals.
Provide support to colleagues and vendors to resolve queries.
Support month-end closing with assigned accounting activities, reconciliations, and validations.
