Job summary

Amadeus Polska Sp. z.o.o. in Warsaw is seeking a Junior Accountant with French to join the Accounts Payable (Source to Pay) team.

You will process invoices, liaise with vendors, and support the purchasing department while preparing payment proposals. The ideal candidate has a degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience, and will bring basic AP exposure, knowledge of procurement, invoicing, and supplier data management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• First experience in accounts payable, accounting, or transactional purchasing (SSC).
• Good understanding of procurement, invoicing, and supplier information management processes.
• Prior experience with Coupa or any other purchasing tool would be an asset.
• Knowledge of SAP (S4 Hana) would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Review Purchase Requests (PR) based on established criteria and follow up on Purchase Orders (PO) and Goods Received (GR).
• Validate invoices against PR/PO/GR as applicable.
• Input data from invoices into purchasing systems per accounting policies and procedures.
• Facilitate payment processes and prepare payment proposals according to the payment calendar.
• Provide support to colleagues and vendors to resolve queries or issues.
• Support month-end closing with reconciliations and validations per timelines.

• Validate incoming invoices against relevant Purchase Requests (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and Goods Received (GR).
• Input necessary data from invoices into purchasing systems in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Facilitate payment processes and prepare payment proposals according to the corporate payment calendar.
• Provide support and guidance to colleagues and vendors to resolve queries or issues.
• Support the month-end closing process by performing assigned accounting activities, reconciliations, and validations in line with established timelines and procedures.

About the Ideal Candidate

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
• First experience in accounts payable, accounting, or transactional purchasing (SSC).
• Good understanding of procurement, invoicing, and supplier information management processes.
