Job summary

Amadeus Polska Sp. z.o.o. is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Travel & Expenses Team in Warsaw.

You will help review travel and expense reports, post transactions in SAP, and support month‑end close with accuracy and compliance. You should have a degree in accounting or finance, basic SAP experience, and solid English skills. This is a hybrid role with opportunities to learn and grow within a truly global travel technology company.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance (students in progress welcome).
• Experience with SAP (S/4HANA) or other ERP is a plus.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication.

Junior Accountant (Travel & Expenses Team)

Currently, we are looking for a junior accountant who will join our Travel & Expenses Team.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess travel and non-travel expense reports in Cytric, ensuring they align with travel and expense policies and EMEA accounting standards.
• Record and post travel-related transactions, including items not processed through the travel management system, maintaining accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
• Support adherence to local and regional financial and regulatory requirements through timely assessments.
• Create and manage payment proposals using SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing) based on the corporate payment calendar.
• Verify and post transactions in SAP related to business travel activities.
• Support account reconciliation and month-end closing tasks.
• Provide first-line assistance in ServiceNow for travelers’ inquiries related to reports, systems, or policy questions.
• Participate in testing improvements for travel management tools and help address inconsistencies.
• Collaborate closely with fellow team members in Finance and the Group Travel Management Team to ensure seamless end-to-end processes.

Your Profile

• Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance (students in progress welcome).
• Experience with SAP (preferably S/4HANA) or other enterprise resource systems is an advantage.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and effective communication skills.
• Interest in learning about financial and travel-related processes.
