Job summary

Amadeus IT Group in Warsaw is seeking a Junior Accountant to join the Travel & Expenses Team. You will review expense reports in Cytric, post travel-related transactions in SAP, and ensure compliance with policies and local regulations.

This role offers hands-on experience with SAP, support for month-end closing, and collaboration with Finance and Group Travel Management. Students and early-career candidates are welcome as we value learning and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Accounting or Finance (students in progress welcome).
• Experience with SAP (S/4HANA) or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written).
• Attention to detail and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess travel and non-travel expense reports in Cytric, ensuring they align with travel and expense policies and EMEA accounting standards.
• Record and post travel-related transactions, including items not processed through the travel management system, maintaining accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
• Support adherence to local and regional financial and regulatory requirements through timely assessments.
• Create and manage payment proposals using SAP based on the corporate payment calendar.
• Verify and post transactions in SAP related to business travel activities.
• Support account reconciliation and month-end closing tasks.
• Provide first-line assistance in ServiceNow for travelers’ inquiries related to reports, systems, or policy questions.
• Participate in testing improvements for travel management tools and help address inconsistencies.
• Collaborate closely with fellow team members in Finance and the Group Travel Management Team to ensure seamless end-to-end processes.

### Currently, we are looking for a junior accountant who will join our Travel & Expenses Team

In this role, you’ll:

• Review and assess travel and non-travel expense reports in Cytric, ensuring they align with travel and expense policies and EMEA accounting standards.

Your Profile:
