Job summary

Jit Team is seeking an experienced Java Tech Lead to own the technical side of client projects. The role combines hands-on development with system architecture and strong leadership, aligned with business goals.

Based in Poland with a hybrid model (2 days per week in the office in Gdańsk/Warszawa/Kraków/Poznań), you will design scalable backend solutions, guide delivery, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Java Developer.
• 2 years in a Tech Lead role.
• Strong Java+Spring Boot technical and soft skills.
• Ability to design scalable and maintainable systems.
• Experience in software house/consultancy environment.
• Good backend architectures understanding and best practices.
• Proficiency in English and Polish (min C1).

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of multiple projects.
• Design and architect end-to-end backend systems and solutions.
• Supervise and ensure technical quality across projects.
• Support project estimations (effort, budget, cost).
• Create and maintain technical designs and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with delivery and business stakeholders.
• Adapt to different client environments and stacks.
• Work on several projects simultaneously; multitasking is essential.

Project

We are looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead with both strong technical expertise and business awareness to take ownership of the technical side of multiple client-facing projects. This is a hands-on role focused on software development, system architecture, technical leadership, and supporting successful project delivery. The ideal candidate combines deep Java development experience with the ability to work closely with clients, adapt to different environments, and support business and delivery initiatives.

Requirements
