Job summary

Jit Team in Poland is seeking an experienced Java Tech Lead to own the technical direction of multiple client projects. This hands-on role combines software development, system architecture, and leadership to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will collaborate with clients and delivery teams, shape backend design, and guide engineering efforts across diverse environments while ensuring architectural integrity and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Java developer.
• 2 years in a Tech Lead role.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot technical skills.
• Ability to design scalable and maintainable systems.
• Experience in a software house/consultancy environment.
• Good backend architecture knowledge and best practices.
• Knowledge of modern infrastructure and deployment approaches.
• Proficiency in English and Polish (C1).

Project

We are looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead with both strong technical expertise and business awareness to take ownership of the technical side of multiple client-facing projects. This is a hands-on role focused on software development, system architecture, technical leadership, and supporting successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate combines deep Java development experience with the ability to work closely with clients, adapt to different environments, and support business and delivery initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Java Developer
• 2 years of experience in a Tech Lead role
• Strong technical (Java+Spring Boot) and soft skills
• Proven ability to design scalable and maintainable systems
• Experience working in a software house / consultancy environment
• Very good understanding of backend architectures and development best practices
• Knowledge of modern infrastructure and deployment approaches

Proficiency in English and Polish at min.C1

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms AWS/ GCP/ Azure (from a developer perspective)
