Job summary

Jit Team is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join one of our Agile squads working hybrid from Gdynia/Gdańsk/Warszawa. You will design, implement, and deliver robust software with a focus on reliability and maintainability.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements and continuously improve engineering practices in a Scandinavian-inspired, English-speaking environment. The role emphasizes CI/CD, testing, and API integration within distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Gradle, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Oracle Database, Kafka.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience consuming and integrating API services.
• Good understanding of application testing principles.

• Primarily work with your core technology stack while supporting other areas when needed.

Project

As a member of an Agile development team, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions. The role combines hands-on Java development with collaboration across business and technical stakeholders to build reliable applications and continuously improve engineering practices.

Responsibilities You'll Have

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand regulatory requirements and drive the best technical solutions
• Contribute engineering expertise throughout the solution design and implementation process
• Participate in technology communities, development days, innovation sprints, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines across both development and deployment environments
• Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including negative test scenarios
• Integrate and consume data from external API services

Expected Competences and Knowledge
