Job summary

Sonova is seeking an IT System Technical Lead to coordinate and support global systems like Atlassian and GitHub used by R&D and business teams. The role focuses on governance, delivery transparency, and resource coordination to ensure reliable service delivery.

You will work across internal stakeholders, drive roadmap planning, and maintain security and IT standards while thriving in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a role related to the responsibilities described above.
• Experience working with Atlassian products.
• Experience with the GitHub platform.
• Ability to independently plan, organize, and execute assigned tasks.
• Fluent English language skills (minimum B2 level).

Responsibilities

• Act as the main operational interface between the Platform Lead and the technical delivery team.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities, backlog, incidents, service requests, enhancements, and platform-related projects.
• Ensure requests are properly documented, assessed, prioritized, and assigned to the appropriate technical resources.
• Coordinate activities across internal stakeholders, R&D teams, technical engineers, and external suppliers.
• Support the Platform Lead in implementing and maintaining platform governance, standards, and operating procedures.
• Ensure that platform changes follow agreed processes rather than being implemented through informal requests.
• Facilitate requirements clarification between stakeholders and technical specialists.
• Support roadmap planning, backlog management, and prioritization.
• Monitor service quality, incidents, recurring issues, and delivery performance.
• Support license, user, and plugin reviews, and prepare relevant information for cost and utilization decisions.
• Ensure compliance with security, access management, and corporate IT standards.

IT System Technical Lead

We are looking for a new team member to join our technical team as a IT System Technical Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing technical support for our global systems (Atlassian & GitHub) used by R&D and other business teams across the organization.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Experience with governance, standardization, license optimization, and vendor management.
