Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S) in Warsaw is seeking an IT System Analyst to drive analysis of development project requirements for AEM and related Group Portal applications. You will collaborate with project sponsors and managers to ensure requirements are met and issues are proactively managed.

You will help create a consistent, automated data landscape across the Munich Re Group, supporting pre-study, integration, and change projects with a strong emphasis on business value delivery.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Engineering / IT or related field.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud products.
• Experience analyzing business requirements and translating into system solutions.
• Experience in IT project lifecycle and agile methodologies (Prince2/ PMI/ Scrum).

About the role

Our unit owns the key relationship (representing all IT service functions) with the business unit of Group Communications. For the global Extranet and for other Group Portal Applications, the Adobe Experience Manager platform (AEM) and a corresponding CoE service unit was created. Component development is the key task of several application implementation projects on the platform.

Focus of this IT System Analyst position will therefore be the analysis of development project requirements for these application projects. You’ll work with project sponsors and managers throughout projects to ensure that requirements are met, and that issues are managed proactively.

How you will get the job done

• driving the analysis of business requirements and demands across the business value chain, providing key analytical skills that will enable business problems to be understood and the subsequent requirements for IT systems documented, tested and delivered
• supporting of the analysis of system related business processes, identify and initiate business process improvements in close collaboration with business stakeholders and architecture
• actively driving towards a consistent, highly automated and resilient target system and data landscape across the Munich Re Group to enable cost efficient digital business
• delivering of project (pre-study) support, application implementation, integration, development of change projects
• driving the alignment, assessment, and prioritization of identified demands within the respective business units, thus driving the project and product backlog

Skills and experience you will need

• fluency in English
• university degree, preferably in Computer engineering / IT or similar qualification
• in-depth knowledge of the Adobe Experience Cloud products
• experience in the conception, support and analysis of digital analytics projects with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics or comparable tools is desirable
• conceptual knowledge of the integration of identity providers in web applications is desirable
• demonstrable experience in analysis of business demands, deriving of system requirements and translating into system solutions
• several years of experience in IT, preferably in application development and hence in-depth knowledge of the processes of the entire software development and product life cycle including experience in agile project management methodologies e.g. Prince 2 or PMI, Scrum.
• strong analytical, facilitation, presentation and multidisciplinary communication skills
• track record of successful implementations that delivered value to the business, resulting in measurable business outcomes
• consulting and collaborative working style creating a culture of accountability and sharing
• a high degree of commitment and the willingness and ability to master the various tasks are essential
• business acumen - able to easily grasp business topics and to view and present things from a business perspective rather than IT
