Job summary

iShare Inc. is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to lead fast-cycle sourcing in IT and Professional Services. You will manage category strategies, run RFI/RFP cycles, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, and privacy terms, while collaborating with Legal and InfoSec to ensure compliance.

You will drive measurable savings, update dashboards, and maintain clean data for audits. This remote role offers a consulting-style engagement with potential extension based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT sourcing or Professional services sourcing experience with category management ownership.
• Proven success running competitive events and negotiating complex IT agreements (SaaS, cloud/IaaS, software licenses, managed services, hardware).
• Strong contract knowledge: MSA/SOW, SLAs, termination, indemnities, data privacy/security terms.
• Comfort with supplier risk and compliance reviews with Legal/InfoSec/Privacy.
• Data-driven: pricing analysis, TCO modeling, and benefits tracking.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned Professional services and IT spend categories; assess market dynamics and savings levers.
• Run end-to-end RFI/RFP/RFQ cycles and down-select vendors.
• Lead commercial and contractual negotiations (pricing, rate cards, milestones, SLAs, data privacy, EULA terms).
• Finalize MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, and ensure compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA as applicable).
• Deliver measurable savings, cost avoidance, and improved total cost of ownership; document benefits with Finance.
• Execute vendor due diligence, scorecards, QBRs, and corrective action plans.
• Rationalize licenses, right-size entitlements, optimize renewals and term lengths.
• Translate business needs into sourcing plans and facilitate decision meetings.
• Maintain sourcing pipeline, dashboards, and contract repositories with clean data.
