Hitachi Energy is seeking an IT Category Manager within the IT Infrastructure Tower to drive sourcing for infrastructure and end‑user technologies. You will manage contracts, supplier performance, and spend analysis to align with strategic directions.

You will lead global sourcing events in SAP Ariba, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with Legal, Cybersecurity, and IT Governance to ensure compliant contracting. You will coach a small team and help optimize lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT procurement or category management in global organizations.
• Strong knowledge of IT hardware, networking, telecom, or end-user computing.
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical leaders.
• Experience leading small teams (2–3 FTEs).
• Excellent negotiation and contract drafting skills.
• Experience with SAP Ariba and S/4HANA procurement processes.
• Working knowledge of ITIL and infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Advanced analytics skills (TCO modelling, benchmarking, spend analysis).

Responsabilités

• Execute global IT category strategies defined by the Infrastructure Tower Functional Manager.
• Perform spend and market analysis, demand forecasting to identify savings, risk mitigation, and supplier innovation.
• Lead global sourcing events using SAP Ariba Sourcing (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs).
• Negotiate global contracts, pricing, maintenance services, and telecom/network agreements.
• Collaborate with Legal, Cybersecurity, Export Control, Data Privacy, and IT Governance for compliant contracting.
• Manage commercial relationships with OEMs, resellers, and telecom/network service providers; conduct QBRs.
• Provide coaching and development for a small sourcing team.
• Drive value through benchmarking, consolidation, standardization, lifecycle optimization.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with IT stakeholders.
• Maintain contract documentation in Ariba Contracts; support audits and risk assessments.
