Job summary

Nordea is seeking an IT Operation Specialist to join Group Technology in a DevOps-focused role, managing and improving IT infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, automate, and scale applications and systems while prioritizing customer experience and data security.

You will participate in day-to-day operations, handle incidents, and drive continuous improvement with a focus on reliable, high-quality services and efficient workflows across Windows and Linux

Qualifications

• Experience in IT operations, system engineering or similar role.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Familiarity with change and incident management tools/processes (e.g., BMC Helix ITSM, JIRA).
• Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Grafana).
• Database experience: MS SQL, PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Actively involved in day-to-day operations.
• Serve as a key expert during incidents, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Support teams in maintaining applications and systems.
• Embrace continuous improvement for technical excellence and efficient workflows.
• Work with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the lifecycle.
• Lead application dependency and infrastructure upgrade/patching.
• Collaborate with service owners and platform teams to align with business and technical requirements.
