Nordea is seeking an IT Operation Specialist to manage and maintain the bank's IT infrastructure within a DevOps setup. You will work with cross-functional teams to deploy, automate, and scale applications and systems, ensuring high quality and low cycle times for customers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT operations, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience with Windows/Linux, monitoring tools, and CI/CD. The role offers a hybrid work model within Poland.

As an IT Operation Specialist you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure while working in DevOps setup to streamline our development and operations processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, automate, and scale our applications and systems effectively. You will help us support our users, developers and our BizDevOps journey, to ensure we are geared towards high quality and low cycle-time and that our customers are our first priority.

About Our Team

We're responsible for Nordea's savings distribution platform - delivering customer and advisor-facing solutions for savings, investments, pensions, and life risk insurance across Mobile, Netbank, and advisory channels. Our role is to provide stable service in the Savings and Investment area.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Actively involved in day-to-day operations
• Act as a key expert during service-related incidents, troubleshooting complex issues and driving root cause analysis
• Support the team in maintaining applications and systems.
• Embrace mindset of continuous improvement, ensuring both technical excellence and efficient workflows.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle and to enhance collaboration, automation, efficiency across the organization and and deliver innovative solutions.
• Initiating and driving application dependency and infrastructure upgrade/patching
• Collaborate with service owners, platform teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business and technical requirements.

Who You Are

• 5+ Years experience as an IT Operations, System engineer, IT Analyst or similar role.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Experience of change and incident management tools and processes (BMC Helix ITSM, JIRA)
• Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux
• Experience in Monitoring tools as Splunk, Grafana or similar
• Database experience: MS SQL, Postgress
• Basic awareness of AI and automation concepts and interest in learning how they can support IT operations, monitoring, and incident handling.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment, collaboration with developers and other IT teams to support various initiatives and projects.

It would be ideal if you also

• possess curiosity and interest in understanding and fulfilling business requirements to deliver exceptional customer experience and value-creation opportunities through technology
• have Knowledge of Kubernetes and CI/CD tools
