Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an IT Delivery Manager within the BST Service to lead delivery of Service BST projects and transformation programs, ensuring on-time delivery within scope, budget and quality. You will drive business value realization and serve as the primary delivery partner between IT and Service BU leadership.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams across regions, manage budgets above €3–5M, and drive governance, risk and stakeholder engagement to enable successful solution

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in IT delivery with global programs and budgets above €3–5M.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce, integration platforms (MuleSoft, APIs), ServiceNow, Data & Analytics, and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Proven experience managing distributed teams and third-party service providers across multiple regions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence business leaders and process owners.
• Delivered business transformation programs including ERP transformations, template rollouts, or post-merger harmonization initiatives.
• Solid understanding of service domain processes including EAM, FSM, and APM.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and decision‑making skills.
• Strong expertise in risk management, integration best practices, and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams, including Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA specialists, and external suppliers. Collaborate with GBPOs and transformation leaders.
• Drive project and program delivery aligned with business priorities, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Establish and manage delivery governance, reporting frameworks, and steering committees; lead demand management, portfolio review, and prioritization.
• Monitor project health, risks, dependencies, resource allocation, and budget performance.
• Assess resource and competency requirements and ensure effective staffing; coordinate internal and external resources.
• Coordinate with Application Service Delivery and Operations teams for smooth handover of solutions.
• Eliminate duplication of initiatives and maximize reuse of enterprise capabilities.
• Support program manager in evaluating supplier offers and recommending next steps.
• Recommend process and technology improvements to enhance team effectiveness.
• Review supplier deliverables and evaluate solution effectiveness to support business objectives.
