Job summary

ENGIE Poland seeks an experienced IT Application Manager for Sales and Business Operations. You will own the application landscape, coordinate maintenance, and drive digital improvements in a hybrid Katowice setup.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, IS/IT teams, and vendors to ensure high availability, data quality, and compliant operations. Fluent Polish and English are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Profound experience with IT tools in the energy Sales and Business Operations domains
• Good understanding of Polish market processes
• Knowledge of European energy market processes is a plus
• Hands-on knowledge of Salesforce, API concepts, and Application lifecycle management

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary application expert and product owner for Sales and Business Operations apps (CRM and Billing) including self-developed and vendor solutions
• Ensure stable, secure, and reliable daily operation of the solutions, including incident, problem, and change management
• Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, projects and integrations in line with IT standards
• Act as the key interface between business and IS/IT teams
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Manage projects, enhancements, configurations, and system optimizations to support evolving business needs
• Lead or contribute to digitalization and automation initiatives, including AI
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and service providers
• Support implementation projects, testing, and release cycles
• Ensure data quality, system documentation, and audit readiness

In this role, youare anenablerthat supports the business to reach their targetsefficiently, be it in Sales or Business Operations. Your role is to managetheSalesand Business Operationsapplicationlandscapeanditsinterfaces(both technical as well as vendors/stakeholders).

As the central expert, you will work closely with business stakeholders, internalIS/IT teams, and external vendors to maintain high availability, optimize processes, and drive digital excellence.

Responsibilities:

Application Ownership & Operations

• Serve as the primary application expert and product ownerfor applications in the Sales Domain (e.g. CRM)and Business Operations (e.g.Billing solution)includinglocal self-developedsolutionsand vendor deployedapplications.
• Ensure stable, secure, and reliable daily operation of the solutions, including incident, problem, and change management
• Coordinate maintenance, upgrades,projectsand integrations in line with IT standards(either from Group or from SEM)

Business Support & Enhancement

• Act as the key interface between business andIS/IT or other technicalteams

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Profoundexperiencewith IT tools in theenergy Salesand Business Operations domains
• Good understanding ofPolishmarket processes
• Knowledge ofEuropean energy market processesisaplus.
• Hands-on knowledge of:
  • SalesForce
  • TechnicalInterfaces/API concepts
  • Application lifecycle management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a customer-oriented approach
• Proven project management and change management experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in Polish, fluent in English
