Job summary

ENGIE Poland is seeking a seasoned Chief Commercial Officer to lead the development and execution of our commercial strategy in a hybrid Katowice/Warsaw setting. This role drives growth, brand leadership, and profitability across marketing, sales, and energy solutions.

The ideal candidate will oversee budgets, pricing, and go-to-market initiatives, while shaping the future of renewable energy offerings and PPAs.

Qualifications

  • University degree.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including leadership roles in sales, marketing, or commercial management.
  • Strong knowledge of the energy market, particularly renewable energy and sustainability-related solutions.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing commercial, sales, and marketing strategies.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L responsibility.
  • Experience in developing and launching new products and services.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a results-driven approach.
  • High level of adaptability and flexibility in changing business, regulatory, and market environments.
  • Openness to frequent international travel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s marketing and sales strategy in line with business objectives and growth targets.
  • Lead the commercial organization and take full responsibility for sales performance, profitability, and budget delivery.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and regulatory developments within the energy sector.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, products, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive the development and commercialization of innovative energy solutions, including renewable energy products and PPAs.
  • Build and strengthen ENGIE’s brand positioning through marketing and communications.
  • Develop sales channels and optimize customer acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Manage commercial budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, including P&L responsibility.
  • Define pricing strategies and monitor business performance against strategic objectives.
  • Build relationships with key customers, partners, industry stakeholders, and regulatory institutions.
  • Represent ENGIE externally and promote the company as a trusted partner in the energy transition.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire high-performing sales and marketing teams.
