Parker Hannifin is seeking an Intercompany Accountant in Wrocław to support standardized accounting practices across the organization. You will keep AP up to date, investigate variances, provide high-quality internal customer service and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Secondary vocational or higher education in accounting, finance, economics or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B1).
• Ability to understand financial transactions and the tools used to process them.
• Ability to enter data and analyze financial documents.

Responsibilities

• Verifying and posting individual financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and documented SOX procedures.
• Maintaining strong relationships with internal business units and contacting them to obtain required information/approvals.
• Resolving discrepancies through collaboration with business partners.
• Performing month-end and year-end closing tasks (including reconciling balances in BlackLine).
• Regularly working with reports.
• Handling correspondence received in team email inboxes.
• Actively participating in team meetings.
• Identifying areas for process improvement.
• Supporting other team members with processes and assisting in onboarding new employees

As an Intercompany Accountant, you will work with our accounting team to ensure our organization’s spendings are accurate and our accounting practices are standardized across the organization. You will be responsible for keeping AP accounts up to date, timely investigating and resolving variances, providing high quality internal customer service and driving process improvement.
