Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a senior program leader to drive multi-disciplinary, global initiatives in optical communications.

You will manage schedule, performance and budget for complex technology projects, coordinating core teams across regions and collaborating with engineering, manufacturing and product management to maximize value. The role requires extensive cross-functional leadership experience, strong PM skills, and high English proficiency, with significant travel and a track record of

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Extensive experience managing cross-functional, culturally diverse teams.
• Minimum 10 years in development/engineering/manufacturing with project mgmt capability.
• Minimum 5 years at Manager level.
• Strong initiative, able to deliver challenging objectives.
• Excellent customer interaction and translating needs to requirements.
• High English proficiency, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary global teams; manage schedule, performance and budget for complex programs.
• Build a global program structure with core teams and multiple work streams across regions.
• Issue project plans, monitor master schedules, secure resources for programs.
• Coordinate with external engineering, manufacturing, and other resources.
• Direct all phases of technology projects from inception to completion.
• Engage with customers and Product Management to ensure value creation.
• Regularly communicate status to executives; prepare presentations/reports.
