Job summary

Pracyva is seeking an IT Infrastructure Field Support technician to join our on-site team in Poland. The role focuses on hands-on hardware repair, OS installation and troubleshooting, and basic networking support for LAN/WAN environments.

You will interact with customers at different levels and must meet deadlines with a proactive, team-driven approach. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of field support experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in IT infrastructure field support.
• Hardware troubleshooting for laptops, desktops, printers and accessories.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN and RDP.
• OS installation and troubleshooting across Windows, Mac and Linux.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT hardware support at client sites.
• Install and troubleshoot operating systems and software.
• Assist with enterprise LAN/WAN and server concepts.
• Handle smart hands tasks for peripheral and networking hardware.
• Ensure timely ticket closure and customer satisfaction.

Job description

• 3-5 years’ experience providing IT Infrastructure field support which includes troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system issues and problems and fixing the issues without impacting / violating the hardware warranty or customer security compliance requirements.
• Good in oral and written communication
• Able to interact and work with customer at different levels

• Hardware Troubleshooting and Repair o Hands on experience in installing & troubleshooting hardware issues for Laptop, Desktop, Printers and accessories
• Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN, WAN, Server setups and concepts.
• Ability to perform smart and physical assistance activity under instruction, at sites.
• Ability to lift / move computer equipment weighing up to 50Lbs.
• Smart hand support for peripheral and networking hardware, including, but not limited to monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, fax machines, scanners, routers, wireless routers, switches, firewalls, racks, cabinets, multi-port data termination panels all under ‘Smart Hands’ capability
• Operating System & Software o Skilled in desk side support for Installing & troubleshooting Operating Systems(Win 7/ Win 10 / MAC / Linux)
• Experience with Anti-spyware and Anti-virus software.
• Basic installation and troubleshooting of office applications (O365, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Skype, OneDrive) o Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP working principles
