You will work with diverse stakeholders, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliant, effective sourcing processes, while supporting UPM's mission for sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in procurement, business, IT, or a related field.
• Strong interest in technology, AI, digitalization, and innovation.
• Fluent in English; additional languages like Finnish, German, or French are valued.
• Experience with SAP Ariba and other digital sourcing tools.
• Customer-focused, service-oriented with excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
• Ability to build relationships, embrace diversity, and work in cross-functional settings.
• Collaborative team player who adapts quickly and brings an innovative mindset.
• Demonstrates self-leadership, takes initiative, and seeks continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects across indirect material categories using RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and e-auctions.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to deliver value and cost optimization.
• Negotiate and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle with compliance and risk management.
• Act as a trusted sourcing advisor, influencing stakeholders and enabling strategic decisions.
• Drive change by implementing new ways of working and leveraging digital procurement tools.
• Monitor supplier performance and build strong supplier relationships for continuous improvement.
• Champion procurement best practices and risk management across activities.
• Drive efficient Source-to-Contract processes and overall operational excellence.
