Job summary

UPM, a global materials solutions company, seeks a Specialist, Sourcing Operations in Poland. The role focuses on end-to-end sourcing for direct materials (chemicals) and driving value through strategic procurement initiatives.

You will negotiate contracts, implement digital tools, and monitor supplier performance in a dynamic, multicultural team. The position offers a hybrid work model in Wroclaw, with opportunities to shape sustainable supply chains and contribute to UPM's future beyond

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent in procurement, business or related field.
Fluent English communication is required.
Experience with SAP Ariba and digital sourcing tools is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end sourcing projects with a focus on direct materials (chemicals).
Follow sourcing strategies to deliver business value and identify cost optimization.
Negotiate and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle with value creation and risk mitigation.
Act as trusted sourcing advisor, influencing stakeholders and strategic decisions.
Drive change by implementing new digital procurement processes and tools.
Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement across the supply base.
Champion procurement best practices, compliance and risk management.
Drive Source-to-Contract process excellence for efficiency and effectiveness.
