Job summary

Netwrix Corporation in Kraków seeks a Senior Staff Software Engineer to own platform architecture for a SaaS offering and cross-product integration. You will drive technology choices, guide multiple product teams, and shape multi-tenant design, fault-tolerant systems, and cloud readiness.

The role combines hands-on coding with architecture reviews, mentoring, and collaboration with Product Management and Support. Occasional travel to the Kraków office is expected in this hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with technical leadership.
• Hands-on expertise in Java (Spring ecosystem).
• Experience with C#/.NET and architecture reviews.
• Familiarity with Active Directory/Entra ID and on-prem components.
• Experience with distributed-data systems and relational databases at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own technical decision-making for SaaS platforms: evaluate options, run POCs and benchmarks.
• Shape platform-level architecture: Kubernetes topology, Kafka messaging, multi-tenant data models.
• Review designs and guide teams through scalability and cloud-readiness problems.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards (GitOps, observability).
• Define migration paths from on-prem to SaaS without disruption.
• Produce architecture artifacts and present trade-offs to leadership.
• Design and improve microservices and backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, JDK 21+, and .NET.
• Turn recurring solutions into shared libraries and tooling.
