Job summary

evoke Kraków is seeking a Senior Software Developer to help build and evolve our central data warehouse and cloud data platforms within the Data International team. You will design, develop and maintain data integrations and ETL processes, while leading complex enhancements and supporting production systems.

The role offers hybrid work with significant flexibility, exposure to AWS, Snowflake and Apache Airflow, and collaboration across local and international teams to deliver scalable data

Qualifications

• Significant experience developing and supporting enterprise data warehouse solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL and SSIS.
• Expertise in SQL performance optimisation, ETL development, data modelling and troubleshooting production data environments.
• Experience with software engineering best practices including testing, code reviews, version control and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently on complex challenges and collaborate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex data warehouse enhancements from requirements through deployment and validation.
• Design, develop and maintain T-SQL code, data integrations and ETL processes ensuring accuracy and performance.
• Support and optimise production data systems, investigating incidents and implementing long-term improvements.
• Participate in an on-call rota, handling troubleshooting and stakeholder communication.
• Monitor and enhance data processing, operational procedures and platform performance.
• Assess technical risks, plan deployments and ensure safe releases.
• Review designs and mentor engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects and engineering teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
