Job summary

The role is hybrid, based in Poland, with flexibility to work both remotely and from an Aon office in line with local policies. You’ll contribute to architectural decisions and ensure robust CI/CD and testing practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, SQL and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of database design, SQL querying, schema design and query optimisation.
• Experience with code reviews, automated quality checks and software building, capable of considering maintainability, performance and the broader consequences of technical decisions.
• Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with global teams and provide technical mentorship to less experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of building and delivering major features and modules.
• Involved in technical planning through development, testing, and release.
• Conduct code reviews and support engineering practices across architecture, APIs, automated tests and CI/CD.
• Investigate complex technical and production issues with focus on performance and security.
• Collaborate with teams to clarify requirements and manage dependencies.
