Job summary

TMF Group in Katowice is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join its Accounting Team. The role focuses on establishing and driving efficiencies in client service delivery within the Accounting & Tax practice, with hybrid work and quarterly office visits in Katowice.

You will perform end-to-end GL accounting, month-ends, reconciliations, and AP/AR activities, ensuring accuracy across local GAAP and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes across AP, AR, GL, and Reporting.
• Experience in multi-country, multi-entity environments.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as D365 or SAP.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform timely and accurate General Ledger accounting and reporting.
• Own period-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare Balance Sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Analyze and apply payments to subledgers or General Ledger accounts.
• Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with local GAAP.
• Handle payment processes for TMF clients, across multiple countries.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support compliance with accounting standards and policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Collaborate with team members and take on additional tasks as needed.
