Job summary

AMMEGA is seeking a Junior GL Accountant in Katowice, Poland. You will maintain general ledger entries, post journal entries, and support monthly close processes in a hybrid work model.

You should hold a Finance & Accounting degree, be fluent in English, and bring interest in GL processes. The role offers a fixed-term contract with a modern office in the city center and growth opportunities within a global network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance & Accounting.
• Good command of English (min. B2).
• Experience in finance area, within BPO/SSC will be an asset.
• Good understanding of GL processes will be an asset.
• Good MS Excel skills.
• Good level of problem-solving.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to details.
• Experience in process transition and preparation of operating instructions will be an asset.
• Readiness to work in the hybrid model.

Responsibilities

• Perform month end closing activities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Calculate and post journal entries; reconcile ledger accounts.
• Monthly reporting to the Group.
• Maintain fixed asset process.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Create and maintain process documentation.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
• Participate in knowledge transfer projects from other location(s).
• Collaborate with other departments to complete accurate records.
• Support the Auditor, Controller and other financial professionals as needed.
