Job summary

Ammega Group in Katowice seeks a Junior GL Accountant to maintain general ledger entries, post journal entries, and support month-end close. You will reconcile balance sheet accounts, assist with intercompany transactions, and help prepare group reporting in a hybrid work model.

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance or Accounting, English (min B2), strong Excel, and analytical mindset are required; experience in finance and GL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance & Accounting.
• Good command of English (min. B2).
• Experience in finance area; BPO/SSC exposure is a plus.
• Good understanding of GL processes is an asset.
• Strong MS Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in process transition and creating operating docs is a plus.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model.

Responsibilities

• Perform month end closing activities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Calculate and post journal entries.
• Monthly reporting to the Group.
• Maintain fixed asset process.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Create and maintain process documentation.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
• Support knowledge transfer from other locations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate records.
• Assist auditors and controllers as needed.
