Job summary

PwC Polska's Human Resources and Payroll Operations team in Warsaw is seeking a Belgian Payroll Specialist to join our growing group. You will deliver high-quality payroll services, ensure compliance, and support international clients.

You will process payroll in a timely and accurate manner, handle salary payments in the banking system, and manage rejections. You will perform statutory/compliance activities or supervise their execution by third parties and collaborate with authorities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Belgian payroll operations.
• Proficiency in English at C1 level for fluent communication.
• Proficiency in French or Dutch at B2 level for fluent communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality payroll services ensuring compliance with procedures, regulations and customer requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, including validation of transactions.
• Handle salary payments, monitor status and manage rejections in banking systems.
• Perform statutory and compliance activities or oversee their execution by third-party providers.
• Collaborate with senior employees to respond to queries from local authorities.
• Report payroll activities accurately and escalate risks to deadlines as needed.
• Support year-end processes and other country-specific payroll activities outside regular monthly runs.
• Update procedures when required.
