PwC Poland is expanding its Human Resources and Payroll Operations team. You will deliver Belgian payroll services for domestic and international clients with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Belgian payroll operations.
• English proficiency at C1 level for fluent communication (verbal and written).
• French or Dutch proficiency at B2 level for fluent communication (verbal and written).
• Ability to understand both detailed tasks and broader process contexts.
• Strong sense of ownership of assigned tasks.
• Proficient with new technologies and AI-based tools (e.g., automation, information analysis).
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail, energetic and proactive, good teamwork and organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Belgian payroll services, ensuring compliance with procedures, regulations, and client requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, including transaction validation.
• Handle salary payments in the banking system, monitor status, and manage rejections.
• Perform statutory and compliance activities, such as employee registration and tax filings, or oversee their execution by third parties.
• Collaborate with senior staff to respond to queries from local authorities.
• Report payroll activities accurately and on time, escalating risks as needed.
• Support year-end processes and country-specific payroll activities outside regular monthly runs.
• Update procedures when required.
