Job summary

PwC Poland is seeking a Belgian Payroll Specialist to join our growing Human Resources and Payroll Operations team. You will deliver Belgian payroll services, ensure regulatory compliance, and support year-end processes for local and international clients in a hybrid workplace.

You will collaborate with experienced colleagues, handle salary payments, and respond to queries from authorities while adopting AI tools to streamline tasks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Belgian payroll operations experience.
• Fluent English communication (C1) in verbal and written form.
• Fluent French or Dutch communication (B2) in verbal and written form.
• Ability to understand both detailed and broader process context.
• Strong ownership of assigned tasks.
• Comfort with new technologies and AI-based tools in daily work.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and proactive collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Belgian payroll services compliant with procedures and regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, including transaction validation.
• Handle salary payments in the banking system, monitor status and rejections.
• Perform statutory and compliance activities, such as registrations and tax filings or oversee by third parties.
• Collaborate with senior staff to address queries from local authorities.
• Report payroll activities accurately and on time, escalating risks as needed.
• Support year‑end processes and country-specific payroll activities outside regular monthly runs.
• Update procedures when required.
