Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Associate Hydrogeologist to work on projects based in London. The role focuses on leading hydrogeological assessments, monitoring programmes and water environment studies, with responsibilities spanning EIA water chapters, licensing, and regulatory compliance.

You will develop technical reports, mentor junior staff, manage client relationships and contribute to cross-disciplinary project delivery.

Qualifications

• Substantial UK hydrogeology or water environment experience
• A degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Geoscience or a related discipline
• Strong hydrogeological assessment and water monitoring experience
• Knowledge of UK water legislation and regulatory requirements
• Strong technical reporting, client and communication skills
• Chartered status or be working towards chartership
• A driving licence permitting you to drive in the UK
• GIS, analysis or modelling software experience would be advantageous rather than essential

Responsibilities

• Leading hydrogeological assessments, investigations and monitoring programmes
• Preparing and reviewing EIA water chapters
• Water environment assessments, abstraction licensing and groundwater permitting
• Technical analysis, interpretation and reporting
• Managing client relationships and supporting proposals
• Leading multidisciplinary project delivery
