Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Lead Water Engineer for its Advanced Facilities semiconductors sector. You will lead multidisciplinary projects from feasibility through construction, coordinating global teams and mentoring engineers to deliver technically excellent solutions with strong client satisfaction.

The role emphasizes managing scope, schedule, and budget, along with applying best-practice design codes across EU/UK/US/Canada contexts and hydraulic modelling expertise. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering
• 13+ years of relevant experience
• Chartered with the relevant Institution
• Understanding of sanitary and drainage solution identification and development
• Semiconductor expertise could be an asset
• Understanding of project lifecycle (conceptual design, outline design, detail design, construction design)
• Experience with both alternative delivery (Fixed Price Design Build) and conventional delivery methods
• Construction work experience
• Excellent knowledge of EU, UK and US/Canada design codes and best practice
• Experience in hydraulic modelling software
• Good knowledge of 3D environment and MS Office
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Very good English communication skills, both verbal and written

• Lead delivery of complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects from feasibility to construction
• Drive innovative, high-quality solutions and manage scope, schedule and budget
• Mentor engineers and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate global teams and ensure technical excellence
• Collaborate with Jacobs' specialists across offices on international projects
