Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is recruiting Mechanical Design Engineers at Intermediate, Senior and Principal levels for a Central London building services consultancy.

You will develop mechanical designs, perform calculations, and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team; hybrid working available after probation.

Candidates should have building services experience, knowledge of HVAC and regulations, and a degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.

Qualifications

• Building services design experience.
• Concept to detailed design development.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and water systems.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Understanding of building regulations and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Developing mechanical designs from concept to detailed design.
• Producing calculations, drawings, specs and schedules.
• Designing HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation and domestic water.
• Carrying out system calculations and equipment sizing.
• Coordinating with electrical, architectural and structural teams.
• Liaising with clients, contractors and manufacturers.
• Attending design meetings and site visits.
• Mentoring junior engineers; leading design packages at higher levels.
