Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Poland is seeking an HRO Team Leader to oversee our German-speaking HR operations. You will ensure accurate, timely execution of HR processes for employees and stakeholders of the client, focusing on service quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence through process improvements and automation.

You will manage HR teams across onboarding/offboarding, data management, payroll support, and L&D, acting as primary contact for the process.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in HR operations across geographies.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes and systems (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
• Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy regulations.
• Ability to manage diverse teams and deliver in a global environment.
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).

Job description

The HRO TL will be responsible for leading our HRO team which is supporting our German customer. The leader would ensure accurate and timely execution of HR processes for employees and stakeholders for the customer. The role focuses on delivering high-quality HR services, compliance with local regulations, and driving operational excellence through process improvements and automation

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the HR teams responsible for various functions of HRO (Employee Data Management, Onboarding, Offboarding, Document Handling, Employee queries, Pre Payroll, Post Payroll, L&D, Talent Acquisition etc).
• Act as the primary point of contact for the process
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, GDPR, and organizational policies.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with global HR teams and stakeholders to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain accurate HR documentation and reports on service metrics and SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
• Participate in client discussions, knowledge transition, knowledge management and any other activities to ensure committed SLAs are met.

Domain Skills Required

• Deep experience in HR operations/shared services across multiple geographies.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and systems (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
• Knowledge of compliance and data privacy regulations (GDPR).
• Ability to manage diverse teams and deliver in a global environment.

Technical Experience Required

• Proficiency in HR systems (Workday, SAP SF, Oracle HCM).
• Familiarity with automation tools and HR analytics.

Other Desirable Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
