Job summary

Sonova Group is seeking an HR Services Team Leader to oversee the HR Services team and ensure high-quality administrative support across the employee lifecycle. You will drive efficient HR operations, guide team members, and support transitions and process improvements.

You will act as the main escalation point for operational HR matters while fostering growth and development within the team, collaborating with HR stakeholders and external partners to assure smooth service delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR administration experience in an international environment.
• Experience leading or supervising a team and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication, with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and HR systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors or ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the HR Services team in daily operations, ensuring performance and timely task completion.
• Manage workload, prioritize tasks, and act as the escalation point for HR operational issues.
• Support team development through mentoring and identifying training needs.
• Oversee and support employee lifecycle administration from onboarding to exit.
• Ensure accurate HR data management and compliance with policies and payroll requirements.
• Handle HR queries from employees and managers.
• Identify and implement improvements to HR processes and systems.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and support HR initiatives.
• Work closely with HR teams, managers, and external partners to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Maintain effective communication and resolve operational issues promptly.

• 5+ years of HR administration experience in an international environment
• Strong knowledge of the employee lifecycle and HR processes
• Experience leading or supervising a team
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Leadership, communication, and team motivation abilities
• Structured, service- and solution-oriented mindset
• High reliability, discretion, and ability to work under pressure
• Customer-focused with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
• Proficiency in English and knowledge of an additional language : German, Spanish, Italian, French or Dutch
• Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel) and experience with HR systems (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow)
