Job summary

IG Group in Krakow is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead a busy team and own end-to-end HR processes across Workday and related systems.

You will drive process improvements, ensure data accuracy, and deliver timely HR services while coaching your team to raise the bar and deliver outcomes that support the business globally.

This role offers scope, collaboration with senior leaders, and opportunities to shape employee experience within a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HR Operations teams (8–10+), preferably in a global organisation.
• Proven track record of reliable follow-through — end-to-end ownership and proactive reporting.
• Experience renegotiating deadlines with reasoned alternatives and early flagging of risks.
• Track record of re-engaging fatigued teams and improving morale/output.
• Ability to hold specialists accountable with a clear approach to closing gaps.
• Fast learner with quick onboarding on new systems/processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HR Operations Team, taking full ownership of team output.
• Own workload and priorities across all channels (case management tool, mailboxes, Workday).
• Flag at-risk deadlines early with a revised date and rationale.
• Rebuild engagement and energy in a high workload team through prioritisation and recognition.
• Ensure high quality of core HR processes delivery (data accuracy, timeliness, documentation).
• Ramp up quickly on IG’s systems and processes to support and unblock the team.
• Focus on process improvements, simplification, automation and productivity.
• Create reports and presentations for senior leadership on HR trends and patterns with actionable recommendations.
• Act as escalation point for complex queries and coach team for independent resolution.
• Mentor team members and support career development.
• Represent employees’ voice to senior leadership when needed.
